Vail, Colorado is a small town with big personality, widely known for it’s world class ski resort. Nestled within the White River National Resort, Vail is set to show off its summer appeal as it plays host to over 3,000 amateur & professional athletes for the GoPro Mountain Games.
The X-Games meets Colorado’s great outdoors June 9-12 at the GoPro Mountain Games.
The Games will feature 9 sports and 25 disciplines including full contact (extreme) kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, disc golf, fly fishing, trail, mud & road running and ‘Iron Dog’ competitions for your competitive furry friends. More than 100k in prize money will be up for grabs.
Not competing? No worries!
More than 50,000 spectators are expected to be in attendance, making this the country’s largest event for mountain themed sports.
In addition to the athletic competitions, GoPro Mountain games event will feature yoga, outdoor interactive exhibits, adventure photo competitions, family friendly fun and live music (free).
The free concert series is organized by Mountains of Music.

Jam in the Van will also make its debut at this years Games. Sponsored by Krave Jerky, this solar powered Jam Van will set up on Meadow Drive and live stream performances to TV’s that will be set up outside the van.
